Meet Amber and Tiffany Davis of Context & Co!

February 4, 2020

We’re thrilled this year to be partnering with Amber and Tiffany Davis of Context & Co. for our 2020 spring series, Girls Write Now Live. Amber and Tiffany will be working with our mentees as storytelling coaches to help prepare them to share their work with the world, with a special focus on public speaking and presentation skills. Girls Write Now is dedicated to providing mentees in the program professional development, exposing them to experts in the field who have industry knowledge they are willing to share.

Context & Co. is a creative direction studio that helps brands to tell their unique stories through personalized marketing, editorial, content direction, and live events. Their clients include Daily Harvest, Women @ Forbes, Lululemon, Women’s Health, and Travel & Leisure, as well as many other top brands.

“We’re even more excited now, having met some of these young women IRL! Watching them speak up to share their own experiences and encourage one another was inspiring to us too. It’s an honor to be a part of the Girls Write Now extended family!” say Amber and Tiffany of working with Girls Write Now mentees.

About Amber, C&C’s Brand Experience Director

An NYC transplant who cut her teeth interning at Vogue before managing events for the likes of Savannah College of Art and Design, Lulu Frost, and NYC x Design. Her love of indie design, art direction and retail strategy led to work with AHAlife, Kaufmann Mercantile and Capsule Show, creating 360-consumer experiences. Off the clock, Amber is an advocate through and through, volunteering with the Lady Project, Girls Write Now and the Lower Eastside Girls Club.

About Tiffany, C&C’s Content Director

Tiff’s spent a decade-plus building brands big and small – from natural beauty gurus and boutique fitness studios, to Fortune 500 companies looking for brilliant tag lines and video concepts. She’s produced lifestyle segments for NBC, Procter & Gamble, and CBS, and produced brand and editorial content for Tribeca Film Festival, DailyCandy.com, NBC, Lou & Grey, Ann Taylor, and more. Tiff’s got a passion for storytelling, dreaming big, and executing beautifully.

Celebrate Black History Month!

Each week throughout February, we’ll be sharing stories, resources and events from our community and our partners that honor Black art, writing, culture and history!

Life Resources and Events

At Girls Write Now, we work to challenge and change the systemic racism and inequality by breaking down the barriers of race and poverty to elevate the voices of girls and gender nonconforming youth who are too often not heard—or worse, silenced. From mental and emotional wellness to advocating for racial justice, we are here to support you individually and as a community through our robust programming. Check out our calendar to see our current offerings or visit our Life Resources page to support you during this time.

GIVE. WRITE. NOW. And Thank you!!

Girls Write Now’s services are more essential than ever before—serving the hardest hit communities—and many of our young women and gender nonconforming youth have themselves become essential workers to help their families. They carry an enormous burden and face devastating loss, slipping further into poverty. To meet the need, we have enriched and extended our programs, leading the historical transition to virtual learning.
