Veronica is currently an editor at The New York Times, leading the archival storytelling team. She is a prolific writer and the author of the critically acclaimed memoir Mama’s Girl and the editor of the bestselling The Meaning of Michelle, a Time Nonfiction Top Ten of the Year. She’s been a senior editor at the New York Times Magazine, Glamour, and Newsweek. A JSK Knight Fellow at Stanford in 2017, she now lives with her family in Hoboken, NJ.
Mira is the author of the critically acclaimed novel The Sleepwalker’s Guide to Dancing. Her recent work has appeared in The New York Times Book Review, Vogue, Glamour, Tin House, Electric Literature and Literary Hub. She lives in Brooklyn.
