QWERTY: Girls Write Now Digital Exhibition
May 2, 2015 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Girls Write Now mentors underserved young women to find their voices through the power of writing and community. The award-winning organization has built a record of achievement distinguished by The New York Times, Newsweek, the Nonprofit Excellence Awards, and twice by the White House as one of the nation’s top after-school arts and culture programs.

The professional women in media who serve as mentors support teens as they explore writing through video and audio production, interaction design, creative programming, animation, and more.
QWERTY Digital Exhibition showcases teen’s incredibly innovative, genre- and medium-bending work. Featured guest speakers include Ashley Ford (BuzzFeed), Heben Nigatu (BuzzFeed), and Nisha Dua (AOL Cambio). Don’t miss it!
