And we’re off! This fall, we launched Girls Write Now’s year-long intensive program for the Class of 2020 as well as our Writing Works program which teaches and demonstrates the importance of writing across industries. Hundreds of mentors and mentees will write, learn, and grow across the spectrum of race, class, gender, nationality, religion, and generations. Stay tuned to hear about their journeys and to experience their original work.
Mentee and mentor pairs meet and reunite at the Class of 2020 Orientation at the New York Historical Society in October.
Mentees and mentors hear from David, a teaching artist at the New York Historical Society, at the Class of 2020 Orientation.
At the New York Historical Society’s Tech Commons, mentees and mentors learn about HTML and web design, and get started on building their websites that they will use to show their work throughout the year.
