2008-09 Girls Write Now Poetry Workshop

The world between sustenance and hunger is rife with words that can inspire poetry: full, empty, satisfied, longing, burps...at this workshop, our mentees and mentor will explore these words and more as they explore a few of the many forms of poetry. Highlights:

  • Great icebreaker activities
  • Prompts to jump start individual writing and mentoring sessions
  • “Craft Talk: Poetry” featuring Lisa Ann Sandell, author, Song of the Sparrow
  • And, as always, a healthy lunch!
