Annual Winter Reading01/17/2009 - 5:00pm 01/17/2009 - 7:00pm Etc/GMT-4
The event is co-sponsored by the New York Society for Ethical Culture, located at 2 West 64th Street at Central Park West, and features special guest speaker, Judy Blundell, winner of the 2008 National Book Award for Young People's Literature for her novel, What I Saw and How I Lied. See press release here. This evening, one of our most beloved showcases, will feature original collaborative works written and performed by mentor-mentee pairs from the Girls Write Now Class of 2009. This event is open to the public, and a $10-20 donation to GWN is suggested for admission (although no one will be turned away at the door for lack of funds). We invite friends and family of the Girls Write Now community far and wide to share this special night with us! Directions to event here. » calendar |
