The Weekday Blues

I hate Mondays, Mondays are no fun
And I hate Tuesdays, ’cause Tuesdays follow Mondays
I hate Wednesdays, ’cause I sit around all day
And think about Thursdays
Which really are the worst days

And I hate Fridays too
’cause everything is due
I want to scream, I’M THROUGH!
till Saturday comes
To end my weekday blues.

I hate Mondays, ’cause I sit next to Anthony
And I hate Tuesdays, ’cause he won’t stop talking to me
I hate Wednesdays, he comes running after me
And I hate Thursdays, because in gym he tries to kiss me

And I hate Anthony too
Except I think he’s kind of cute
I like it when he smiles
On Sundays I think about him awhile

But I hate Sundays too
’cause when the week is through
I know it’s back to school
And it’s back
to Anthony too
