YOUTH, I.N.C. HONORS ENTERPRISING NONPROFITS
WITH INNOVATORS BREAKFAST
Corporate and Nonprofit Community Gather
at Private Benefactors Awards Breakfast

WHAT: Nearly 100 representatives from the philanthropic and Wall Street communities will gather at Youth, I.N.C.'s first annual Innovators Awards Breakfast, sponsored by Bloomberg. The breakfast will recognize the outstanding work of three enterprising nonprofit partner organizations that are working to improve the lives of New York City youth.

WHY: Youth, I.N.C will present the awards listed below to the following partners for their excellence in one of Youth, I.N.C.'s core program areas - fundraising, board advancement, and organizational capacity building:

* Innovator Award for Capacity-Building: Futures and Options empowers New York City's underserved high school students to explore careers through paid educational internships;
* Innovator Award for Board Development: Girls Write Now is the first organization in the U.S. to combine mentoring and writing instruction in the context of all-girls programming;
* Innovator Award for Achievement in Fundraising: Minds Matter transforms the lives of accomplished high school students from low-income families by broadening their dreams and preparing them for college success.

WHO: Youth, I.N.C.'s mission brings together the corporate and nonprofit sectors, linking talent and resources from the for-profit sector with promising nonprofits seeking to build their capacity and serve more youth. The event will include commentary by prominent speakers from Youth, I.N.C.'s Boards, representing some of the brightest minds in investment banking and consulting:

* Alan Schwartz, Executive Chairman, Guggenheim Partners, LLC
* Jonathan Weiss, Co-Head, Investment Banking & Capital Markets, Wells Fargo Securities

Corporate representatives from Alvarez & Marsal, Bank of America, Citi, Coach Inc., Colgate-Palmolive, Kirkland & Ellis LLP, Kohlberg & Company, LLC, Marathon Asset Management, L.P., Morgan Stanley, Moore Capital Management, PineBridge Investments, TPG Capital, LP, Wells Fargo Securities, LLC, and many others will be present to recognize the outstanding work of the three honorees.
