As we celebrate Girls Write Now's 14th season of writing mentoring for NYC's teen girls, we are filled with gratitude for everyone who has made GWN's growth possible.
 
We're proud to have received HIGH DISTINCTIONS in recent years--like being recognized by the White House as one of the nation's top after school arts programs twice in two years!--and we couldn't have done it without you, our friends and supporters. 
 
This year, with a cutting-edge "Remix" theme guiding our intensive curriculum, multi-genre workshops, and a new MacArthur Foundation-sponsored digital portfolio pilot, Girls Write Now is leading our mentees into A NEW GENERATION OF WRITING. Blogging, online copywriting/editing, and multimedia exploration enrich our innovative program of workshops and mentoring pair sessions. Girls Write Now challenges and inspires girls, leaving them prepared for success in a market that demands digital skills--and ready to broadcast their voices to the world.
