Memoir Workshop

The first workshop of the season, the Memoir Workshop is especially exciting because mentee-mentor pairs are announced at the beginning of the day. During past Memoir Workshops, we’ve explored the genre by recalling and writing memories with our five senses, reading great examples of memoir from authors like Vivian Gornick (The Situation and The Story) and Jeannette Walls (The Glass Castle), and participating in guided visualization exercises to recall our childhood memories.

Next Memoir Workshop:
“In My House” : Personal Essay
