Songs and poems have a lot in common. Both often revolve around rhythm and rhyme, and both frequently cover the universal themes of love and loss. At this meeting, GWN Songwriting Workshop leaders will plan writing exercises, activities and more to help mentees and mentors learn to turn these themes into songs that move the body and the spirit.
