MENTEES AND MENTORS: **Pair Reading Pieces Submission Deadline** SATURDAY, DECEMBER 20 Pair reading pieces must be emailed to reading@girlswritenow.org by SATURDAY, DECEMBER 20 at 5 PM. This is a program requirement. No exceptions. OKAY, WHAT ARE THE GUIDELINES? Genre: Your pair piece may be written in any genre. Collaborative Approach: It can be written in one of two ways: As a single piece that you and your mentor/mentee write together or as two companion pieces that you and your mentor/mentee write separately. Length: It should be a maximum of 4 minutes (including both pieces) when read aloud. Include in Email: Mentors must send piece(s) via e-mail to reading@girlswritenow.org with the following information: 1)Mentor/mentee names; 2)Title of the piece(s); 3)Brief (50 word max) introduction telling how your piece came about (see below for samples)
