We warmly invite all mentors, program volunteers, advisory board members and members of the board of directors to GWN Headquarters on Tuesday, November 18 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 for a festive evening of fun, socializing, prize winning, and letter writing, all in service of a great cause -- funding another groundbreaking year of GWN programming.

Last year, this was the single most effective fundraising event we've ever had.  We need your help once again to ensure that this year GWN has the opportunity to grow and serve even more of New York City's brightest teen writers. Here's how you can help:

1. Come to 520 8th Avenue on Tuesday, November 18 any time between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm.

2. Bring your address book with snail mail contact info of people you dig, and who would love to know more about GWN.

3. Hang out, reach out, eat, drink and be merry! Start your holiday shopping early by filling up on cool GWN gifts! And win great prizes, too!

We'll have everything you need on-hand, from pre-written letters to blank paper to stamps, envelopes, fun sparkly things with which to decorate your letters. You write 'em, you address 'em, and we'll stamp and send 'em! Voila!

We're ready to party, so come out and celebrate with your girls, and bring in this holiday season with a bang!  Not only is this party about food and fun, this is your chance to help GWN grow and prosper. To do this, PLEASE BRING TWO NAMES AND ADDRESSES of people you want to tell about GWN. By participating in writing letters to your communities, family, and friends, you'll help to keep GWN running, this year and for future mentees!
