SUMMER CHAPBOOK PROJECT

Pairs working together over the summer can publish their own chapbooks.  Your chapbook can be poetry, short fiction, essays, songs, or a combination – anything you want!

It's not as complicated as it sounds (and a lot of fun)!  See below to download a guide to 5 easy ACTION STEPS for making your own chapbook.

Don't forget!  There will be a Chapbook Workshop at GWN the week of July 26th – August 1st.  This workshop will show you how to turn a loose collection of writing into a complete book.   For this workshop, have prepared 10 half-pages of typed writing.
Start: 12:00 pm

STARTING YOUR OWN PAIR BLOG

Pairs working together over the summer can start their own blogs.  A blog (or web log) is a way to create a public space for your writing online.  You and your mentor/mentee can take turns posting writing, to share with each other and online readers!

When you make your own blog you get to pick your theme, style, title, and topics to write about.  And that's just the beginning!

See below to download a beginners guide to starting your own pair blog.  It includes sites where you can start your blog for free and advice from expert bloggers.
