Scholastic Art & Writing Awards Submission Deadline

SUBMISSION DEADLINE JAN 13, 2009

The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards offer local and national scholarship opportunities for students around the country, and GWN is proud to count many winners among our ranks!

Submitting a piece into the contest is a program requirement for all new and returning mentees, and the deadline is 6pm, Jan. 13!

Here's what you need to know:

• To submit, bring your manuscript to GWN (520 8th Ave, 20th floor) no later than 6:00pm on Tues., Jan. 13, 2009. (Turning in your manuscript early is always encouraged!) This deadline is final, and no extensions can be given.
• EACH manuscript (you can submit more than one to the contest, either in the same or multiple categories) must have TWO copies of the submission form attached to the front.
  
• Download a submission form below or pick one up at GWN.
• Submission forms must be signed by the mentee, the mentor, and the mentee's parent or guardian. Mentors, sign on the line marked "Teacher Signature" - no actual teacher signature is required.
• Processing fees are waived for GWN - which means this is a free contest for mentees!
