From a veteran Board member to an intern on her first day in the office, everyone takes a stake in the community. Whether that’s crafting a writing workshop or throwing a benefit party, volunteers lend their leadership, along with their considerable talents, enthusiasm, and commitment to our mentees.

Open committees
Join the corps of 150 active volunteers who make Girls Write Now one of the top after school arts and culture programs in the nation. Each committee runs according to different needs and schedules.

Internships
Girls Write Now interns gain valuable experience working side by side with staff at a high-growth nationally recognized non-profit while enhancing career opportunities in the literary and arts education fields.
